Hop¶
A Troop with Hop may move over 1 Troop and land in an adjacent space beyond it.
Rules¶
- Hop replaces this Troop's normal move for the turn.
- The Troop may hop over any Troop — allied or enemy.
- It lands in an adjacent space on the far side.
- The Troop may not be Lost after the move. If every landing space would leave it with no connection to another card, the Hop cannot be performed.
- Hopping does not initiate combat — it is movement only.
Notes¶
Hop is how the Coalition's smaller Troops get behind a line without waiting for a gap to open. The Lost restriction is the real limit on it: hopping through an enemy formation is easy, but hopping out past the far edge of the board strands you.
