Dwellings¶
Dwellings represent outposts, bases, and locations within a territory. They provide a physical structure on the battlefield that Troops can use for protection and staging.
Rules¶
- Dwellings can be placed on the battlefield connected to the Territory card, other Dwellings, or allied Troops — or in a player's Homeland if their text allows it.
- Dwellings cannot move.
- Dwellings do not have a Vigor value inherently.
- Troops may move through Dwellings unless the Dwelling states otherwise.
Garrison¶
Most Dwellings have the Garrison Quirk, which allows Troops to be placed beneath or on top of the Dwelling, granting those Troops special benefits that vary by card.
Example Card¶
Marsh Partizan Outpost Paw Coalition — Dwelling, Partizan
Provision: 3 | Base Garrison: 2
Partizan Troops may be placed beneath this Dwelling. Those Troops gain the Concealed Quirk. Partizan Gambits cost 1 less Provision.
